Proceeds from this event will be donated to CRERI to fund research that will help develop an early detection test for colon cancer, purchase many new devices needed for routine colorectal procedures, and also provide community awareness on a variety of colon health issues.

The Florida summer heat is here! Be aware that heat stress can happen to dogs and cats, too. Signs of heat stress include heavy panting, glazed eyes, rapid pulse, vomiting, unsteadiness, staggering, or a deep red or purple tongue. If you observe some of these symptoms, immediately lower your pets core body temperature by applying cool (not cold) water to his body or apply cold towels or ice packs to the head, neck & chest only. Let him drink a little water or lick ice cubes, and get him to the vet ASAP.
