Pets and hot cars are NOT a good combination. Your car can reach temperatures of 120 degrees and higher within a matter of minutes. Dogs and cats cannot perspire, and can quickly succumb to heat exhaustion, heat stroke...or worse. Your plans to be away from your pet in the car for just a minute can turn into a very dangerous 10 minutes in a snap! Please show your pets you love them; leave them at home in the air-conditioning if you are going to be out of the car at all!
